Description
Meissen Dinner ServiceThe first large-scale flower painting dinner service in the history of "Giant Bloom Giant Bloom".
Summery, the bright purple pansies are hand-painted and their
vividness and depth of color are exceptional.
It
goes very well with the different designs of the "Giant Bloom" tableware.
Sophisticated contemporary design "Meissen Cosmopolitan". Although it has a
modern and sophisticated style,
its roots in the dining table of the creator of Meissen porcelain,
Elector August II of Saxony in Germany.
When King August the Strong tasted coffee for the first time at the Leipzig trade fair in 1696
, he was instantly captivated by the taste and
ordered the court jeweler Johann Melchior Dinglinger to create a
masterpiece "Golden Coffee Set".
At that time, coffee was a special luxury item that could only be eaten by royalty and aristocracy, and was
sometimes treated as a medicine.
Inspired by this historical fact, "Cosmopolitan" has
transcended the ages and now luxuriously decorates modern dining tables. It
is a sophisticated series that inherits the Meissen tradition with a new sensibility form that leads to modern architecture, but adds a modern essence
. It is perfect not only as an elegant
gift with heart on a special anniversary for those who are indebted to you on a
daily basis, but also as a
reward for your hard work.
Giant Bloom Designer Lena Hensel
Lena Hensel was born in 1980. We specialize in porcelain painting and design design. Some of their designs are not only contemporary but also homages to older works. Lena Hansel's designs have long been loved and reflect the craftsmanship of the factory as well as an expression of herself. His masterpiece "Giant Bloom" is rooted in the Meissen tradition of flower paintings, but it has opened a new page.
In 1709, the Meissen kiln was the first in Europe to succeed in producing white porcelain. Until then, porcelain had only been imported from the Orient and was a very valuable item that only royalty could afford. At the behest of August, the Margrave of Saxony (now Germany) at the time, white porcelain was born as a result of nine years of research. Since then, Meissen has gained worldwide fame as the oldest kiln in Europe.
The mark of the sword called "blue twin swords" means that the secret method will not be leaked outside. Even now, all painting is done by hand by proud craftsmen, and the beauty cultivated in this tradition is widely admired.
