Polish Pottery Boleslawiec "1595/1596/D-41" Tea Cup & Saucer 200ml
Description
The most traditional pattern of the Polish Pottery, "Peacock Eye", reminiscent of the eyeball pattern of a peacock feather.
It is a simple eyeball pattern derived from itx an insect pattern with a design that
has the nickname "Mosquito" because the pattern of the green stamp between the red dots looks like a
"mosquito". It
is one of the popular patterns of Polish Pottery with humor added to the adulthood of Peacock Eye.
Even though I came from a foreign country all the way away, for some reason for us Japanese there is
something familiar to Japanese tableware called Polish pottery (Polish tableware).
Although it is small,
it is an artistic finish that makes you feel the commitment unique to Polish Pottery.
The chubby and cute body is easy to keep the heat retention inside,
and the lower part of the drinking mouth is constricted, making it easy to drink with a good mouthfeel.
You can use it in the microwave oven or oven, so
it can also be used as a dessert cup such as baked pudding. It
is a heartwarming design that you can casually enjoy the atmosphere of Eastern European sundries just by placing it as a flower base (vase) with a single ring in the kitchen or
decorating it as an object on a cupboard
.
Regardless of whether you are a woman or a man, it is ideal not only as an elegant gift with
a heart and soul for a special anniversary, a celebratory gift or present, but
also as a reward for yourself for your hard work.
Each pattern
is classified into five levels (D, A, DU, ART, EX) according to the complexity and detail of the pattern, the use of colors, the time and effort required for painting, and the number of colors.
The price of products with the same shape is determined by the class of the pattern, and the
type of logo mark is also divided by the class of the pattern.

Although it was made in a foreign country far away, for some reason it is familiar to us Japanese, and there is something connected to Japanese tableware, so Polish Pottery is a vessel that can be recommended not only for Western food and Japanese food, but also for any cuisine such as Chinese food and ethnic cuisine.
Polish Pottery is very popular in the United States and Europe for its warm and adorable design and the durability of a microwave, oven and dishwasher-dryer. In addition, the beautiful pattern is drawn by the craftsman (mainly women) who soaks the pigment into a stamp made of sponge (sponge) and pushes it. For this reason, it takes a lot of time and effort to attach a pattern to each product, and the work of continuously stamping while turning the table is truly craftsmanship. The pattern drawn with sincerity conveys the warmth of handmade. Bolesławiec has
more than 1,000 kinds of abundant form designs and patterns, and it is also a feature of Bolesławiec that it has sent out many forms other than tableware, such as garden objects and kitchen storage containers. It also carefully adheres to traditional form designs such as seasoning bowls, small bowls with handles and jars for pickles, and is also used in many restaurants and hotels in Poland. This product, which combines not only high technology and quality, function and practicality, but also beauty, continues to be highly evaluated worldwide, and has a reputation for the beauty of products with a deep indigo color in particular.

About the pattern
・ Polish pottery is stamped, hand-drawn with a paintbrush and painted in combination. And it is a work that is done one by one by the hands of craftsmen, and the manufacturers position it as the most important element of Polish pottery.
・ Stamps and hand-drawn patterns are different from painting by transfer or printing for mass production (so-called printed ones), and it is a big attraction that you can see the difference in each one even with the same pattern. The shades of color, the spacing and position of stamp patterns, the accuracy of consecutive stamp straight lines, the difference in patterns and curves due to paintstrokes, etc., are all unique to you, and it is widely loved because it creates warmth unique to handmade and leads to fun to use.
About the shape
The shape is molded by gypsum mold. The work of removing it from the plaster and smoothing the surface is also done by hand. Therefore, the flat part is not completely horizontal, the circle or square is not perfect, and some distortion and warping can be seen. There are individual differences of about 5 mm in size even for the same product due to differences in the shrinkage rate of baking.
The finish
is different from modernized industrial products, each one is done by hand using old-fashioned methods. Small hollows and roughness in areas that are not covered by the glaze, such as on high ground, holes as small as needle holes in the glazed areas, adhesion of clay powder, and small scratches can also be seen.
About products with lids
Products with lids such as sugar pots may be loose and slightly rattled at the point where the lid and the bowl part meet.
About the back stamp
・ The design of the back stamp may differ depending on the time of manufacture. They also differ in shade and size. It is very difficult to deliver products with the same print, and we cannot cope with it. Thank you for your understanding.
