Description
Kastehelmi"Kastehelmi" means 'dewdrop' in Finnish, that name refers to the circles of bubbles in the pressed glass of the votive. Here two elements, water and fire, are combined. Beautiful reflections are created around the votive when there is a light inside.
Iittala
In 1881, "Iitala" was born as a glass products manufacturer of Finland, country of forests and lakes. Already at that time, the glassware of the master-glassblower Peter Magnus Abrahamsson had an exceptional brightness, and it still fascinates people.

Professor Oiva Toikka is one of the greatest names in Finnish glass. His imaginative, rich and bold glass art deviates from the streamlined aesthetic of Nordic design. He has worked in the performing arts for as long as he has in glass. The Birds collection is Toikka’s best-known work. He has enjoyed an international career and received numerous awards, among them Lunning Prize, Pro Finlandia Medal, World Glass Now 85 Award, Kaj Franck Design Prize and the Prince Eugen Medal.
