In order to respond to the diverse needs of discerning Kyoto towns, chefs, and tea master, craftsmen have been creating ceramics with various expressions by grinding the rokuro with their own hands and lavishing their skills and wisdom. At the same time, it also built up a unique production form in which many processes were carried out while going back and back through the kiln. Kyoto's unique ceramics "Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki", which were born in this way, have been designated as traditional crafts by the government, and still vividly color the Japanese culinary landscape.
