Product features, characteristics, and handling
Features of materials and manufacturing processes ○ Color
width STRONG Depending
on natural conditions such as season and temperature, and the degree of heat when firing with the glaze, the vessel shows various expressions. It is very rare for a vessel made of the same material to be baked in exactly the same color, and if there are 100 of them, each one will show a different expression. Strong ones have particularly wide individual differences.
○ Uneven color STRONG In one
vessel, there may be places where the expression of the color is not uniform. One of the factors is that depending on the shape of the vessel, there are places where the glaze is applied thick or thin. As a result, the expression of the soil changes even in a single vessel. The strong ones are especially conspicuous with uneven color.
○ The
glaze becomes dripping due to unevenness caused by manually applying glaze and cosmetic clay, and the flow of glaze during firing.
○
Pottery made mainly of pinhole earth contains a lot of air in the vessel at the unglazed stage, which becomes bubbles during firing and appears as small holes on the surface of the glaze. This is called a pinhole. ○ It is a crack in the glaze
part caused by the difference in the shrinkage rate between the penetration base and the glaze. It is different from cracks caused by damage to the product body. What is originally in the product is called direct penetration, and what comes in as you use it is called aging penetration. Intrusion is not a problem in use. Appears on ceramics, semi-porcelain.
○The
soil used as the raw material for iron powder pottery contains iron, and when the vessel is baked, it appears as black dots on the surface. Since red clay and black clay contain more of it, vessels that use that soil are more likely to produce iron powder.
About handling
○ We
recommend that you start using the characteristic device Close. It has the effect of making it difficult to get dirt and stains. Please
avoid using abrasives such as metal scourers and cleansers that have been painted above, as they may damage the above paintings. There are some that
have fine cracks (penetrations) on the surface at the time of purchase, and some that penetrate as you use them, but there is no problem in use.
○
Before use, soak in plenty of clean water each time to absorb sufficient water. It makes it difficult for moisture to enter food, reducing the infiltration of mold and dirt. When immersed in water, spots like spots may appear. This is because the vessel has absorbed water, and if you dry it well, the spots will disappear.
○ Please
avoid using with food in it for a long time after use.
・After use, immediately remove dirt and dry well before storing.
A company that plans, designs, and sells tableware in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, which operates the tableware brand of Studio M Sobokai. Studio
M, a home-use brand created with home use in mind, and the
professional use brand "Sobokai" Marumitsupoteri, which was created with the idea of being used in hotels and restaurants,
proposes various "fun meals" by planning and designing tableware from these two brands.
There is no such thing as the same, only one vessel.
Marumitsupoteri tableware is shaped by human hands using natural soil dug out from the mountains, and is designed with their atmosphere and texture in mind. Natural soil contains a variety of substances, from inorganic substances such as metals and stones to organic substances that have changed over many years such as plants.
And most of the work of creating the vessels is done by hand.
Therefore, no two Marumitsupoteri products are the same.
"Request regarding the purchase of Marumitsupoteri products"
Please note that many parts of Marumitsupoteri products are finished by hand, and there are individual differences such as the color and thickness of the glaze.
Since pottery is manufactured from natural raw materials, phenomena such as iron powder, pinholes, baldness, unevenness, distortion of glaze, and some rattling occur during the manufacturing process. Products with such phenomena that have passed the inspection of the kiln are recognized as individual differences as described above, and returns / exchanges cannot be accepted. Thank you for your understanding.
Also, the color may differ from the actual color depending on the settings and lighting of the monitor you are using. We cannot return or exchange for these reasons, so thank you for your understanding.
Marumitsupoteri products have vessels that are painted in various ways. Mainly those made with
1. Copper plate, those pressed with 2. Judge, and those drawn with 3. Brush.
1. Copper plate]
Copper plate is a technique in which patterned Japanese paper is pasted by hand and painted. Therefore, it may be slightly wrinkled or faint. There may be a deviation in the pattern matching part. As a characteristic unique to manual work, this technique is often used in Marumitsupoteri for products with a vintage feel.
2. Judges]
Hand-carved judges by judges. One by one, they are pressed into a vessel by human hands. Even a slight change in the force of pressing the judge changes its expression, causing it to bleed and rub. It can also be said that it is the taste of judges.
3. Brush]
Hand-drawn painting by a hand-drawn craftsman with a brush. Since the color applied to the vessel before firing is different from the color that appears after firing, in order to achieve the desired color, the pressure is changed and the amount of pigment that is included is adjusted to lengthen the time when the brush is applied. It can be said that it is a true craftsmanship from many years of experience.
In addition, the finished vessels certainly retain the trajectory of the craftsman's manual work. Finger marks, the flow of glaze, and the amount of force when pressing. There is an expression that appears only because it is a vessel that cannot be completed without the participation of human hands. We
cannot return or exchange for these reasons, so thank you for your understanding. We hope that you
will enjoy it as the individuality of each vessel that is born only because it is done by hand.

1) Place a plain clean cloth on the bottom of the pot, put a bowl on it, and put the stirred rice broth over the bowl.
2) After boiling over low to medium heat, boil over low heat for about 20 minutes so as not to boil. If you boil it, the bottom of the pot or the tableware may collide and break, so please be careful.
3) After turning off the heat, leave the bowl to cool. When it has cooled, take out the bowl and wash it.
4) Wipe with a dry cloth and let dry naturally. Although there are individual differences, please dry thoroughly in the sun for at least one day.
