About natural material]
Zelkova is often used as a wooden fabric for lacquerware. It is hard, durable, and
has a beautiful grain, and the
vivid color of natural wood is also a popular point.
Since natural materials are used, the appearance of wood grain is different one by one.
Even the same tree may have different colors.
Also, because it is a natural wood, spots and streaks may appear.
It is a characteristic unique to natural materials that trees produce in the process of growth. Please
note that we cannot accept exchanges or returns due to wood skin.

"How to care for
lacquerware" It is
often said that lacquerware is difficult to care for, but this is not the case.
The unique properties of lacquerware include its dislike of extreme dryness, moisture, and sudden temperature changes, and the fact that wood is softer than other products in terms of material. If you keep
this in mind and take care of it on a daily basis, lacquerware will have a beautiful luster and become very tasty after many years of use. Please
understand the correct care method and use lacquerware for many years.
Precautions when using lacquerware
1.If you use the lacquerware incorrectly, the product may be damaged or injured, so please use it correctly according to the original purpose and purpose of use of the product.
2. Do not use the product on an open flame, microwave oven, oven, etc. 3. You
can put something hot in a bowl or cup. However, do
not put food that is very hot, such as freshly boiled. If you do, the paint may turn white, which unfortunately will not return to its original state.
It's okay if it's hot enough to drink right away, but if you're worried about it, you can put it through lukewarm water before putting it in to avoid sudden temperature changes.
4. If lacquerware cracks or cracks, it is recommended to replace it with a new lacquerware as soon as possible.
5. There is no problem when used at low temperatures, but please note that if you use it in the refrigerator, it may crack because the lacquerware dries. Do
not leave lacquerware in water or with moisture in it for a long time.
6. Lacquer is originally a strong coating, so there is no problem even if you add vinegar or oil.
However, it is not recommended to use it as a storage item. How to wash
and wipe lacquerware
1.You can wash it with a soft sponge using a neutral kitchen detergent. 2. It
is better not to soak it in water for as long as possible.
3. Lacquer is a softer material than pottery, so when washing, wash it separately from pottery if possible.
4. After washing, it is better to wipe the lacquer with a cloth than to dry it naturally.
5. Only expensive items with makie should be washed with a little care.
Wash gently with a gauze cloth and wipe with a soft cloth.
6. When wiping off moisture, it is especially good to wipe with care in places where water tends to accumulate, such as the corners of the stacked box and the bottom of the bowl.
7. Avoid using dishwashers, dryers.
The washing machine is not good for painting because the detergent is very strong, and the dryer can deform the material.
How to store lacquerware
1.Ultraviolet rays are not good for lacquered coating, so store them in a cupboard that is not exposed to direct sunlight.
2. If you are concerned about scratches or impacts after storing them in layers, put cloth or paper between lacquerware.
3. Lacquerware is reluctant to be extremely dry, so if you don't use it for a long time, put a glass of water in the cupboard to prevent it from drying out.
* Originally, rather than storing it forever, if you can use it in your daily life, you can avoid drying out, and I think it will be a good thing for lacquerware. It can be said that it is the most suitable storage method to use.
"About the color of lacquer"
Due to its nature, the brightness of colored lacquer varies depending on the timing of application, the season, etc.
In particular, it may look bright in the image, and the actual product may be a little dark (dark in color). However, lacquer
often brightens in color over time, and we hope that you will enjoy the color of lacquer that changes over time.
Thank you for your understanding in advance.
"About the material of lacquerware"
The quality of lacquerware generally varies from high-grade wood such as Kiso cypress and zelkova to industrial products made of resin (plastic).
Basically, we mainly use wood or molded products made of wood powder and resin (wood mixed products).
(1) Wood
is the most common, and trees such as keyaki (zelkova), mizume cherry blossom, chestnut, and sennoki are used. It is
used according to the purpose and price, but Keyaki in particular has a beautiful grain and is considered to be the highest quality wood as a material for lacquerware.
(2) Wood powder processed products (molded wood powder and resin)
Wood powder mixed with resin and hardened using a mold. It is sometimes called natural wood processed products or wood drying.
Compared to wood, the price can be kept down, and it can be molded into complex shapes. Compared to wooden ones, it
is a little heavier and the texture is still reduced, but the durability is comparable to wooden ones. In addition, it can be said that it is closer to the texture of wood than plastic.
Above all, it is attractive that you can experience the feeling of lacquerware at an affordable price. "About lacquerware
"
In addition to lacquer, those coated with paint (cashew, urethane paint, etc.) are also called lacquerware in a broad sense.
Basically, it is lacquered.
However, some products are coated with urethane paint because they are more affordable than lacquer coating and because they can produce colors that are difficult to achieve with lacquer.
However, lacquer is used as much as possible for bowls.
