Nouveau Japan
Nouveau Japan with the style of Galle is produced in Romania, in the workshop which had been detained by the governement until the revolution.
Thanks to its excellent Cameo method (acid etching), which was often used by Galle, Nouveau Japan reproduces perfectly Ukiyo-e. The reproduction of printmaking on glass is not an easy task, more particularly at the juncture between the extremities, but after several attempts the Ukiyo-e is also appreciable in three-dimensional shape.
