Victoria GrandeThe Victoria Grande (VICTMC) pattern is the 2014 Collection of Herend.
One of the Manufactory’s Hallmark Patterns, which was the preference of Queen Victoria, has been redesigned to a new look. The classic Victoria Pattern provides an inexhaustible treasure chest for new Herend decorations. This year’s novelty enlarges some flower motifs of the basic pattern, and highlights them. The uniqueness of this pattern comes from a combination of the trendy monochrome color scheme and the light gray- and yellow-colored borders. The décor is a perfect example of the 21st century’s minimal design, stylish and modern, yet reflecting the essence of Herend. The table set is enriched by a motif consisting of butterflies in the same color tone. Charming, subtle and harmonic color scheme radiates elegance. The characteristics of hand-painting are evident and impressive on the enlarged motifs, sharding and fine details are more empathic. The pattern represents tradition and innovation in every detail.
Herend
In 1826, in Western Hungary, where was under the rule of the House of Habsburg called the “Lords of Lords", Herend came into being, and cultivated its skills at the Vienna Court Salon. Emperor Franz Joseph, Princess Elizabeth and many Lords fell in love of this sensitive hand-painted tableware. Herend preserves its traditions, techniques and pride of its wares "made-to-measure".

- Especially, the pattern which has main motif ( such as Apony, Fleurs des Indes and so on) has several second motifs.
- Bonbonniere, Small box, Tea pot and so on... these knob's color, motif or more will be different one by one, too.
- In case of figurine, it has different face by expression of the eyes.
