* Samut Sakorn means "sea and river" and is located at the mouth of the Thachin River, only 2 km to the sea. Due to its location facing the Gulf of Thailand, trade by Chinese junk ships was once thriving. Currently, it is a factory area because it is located about 30 km from Bangkok.

Benjarong means five colors in ancient Sanskrit, but the colors used in Benjarong ware are not only five, but also various colors. During the Ayutthaya dynasty, from the end of the 16th century to the first half of the 17th century, the technique of baking porcelain and polychrome paints was introduced from China. Benjarong ware became a luxurious design using gold about 200 years ago during the reign of King Rama II of the Chakri dynasty. And it penetrated the lives of the royal family and wealthy aristocrats and merchants.
